Just letting you know that there are 2 Spain F3 & F4 tournaments on the default calendar, on weeks 14 and 15, then 47 and 48 (same for TEM1). Also, the London Olympics have the country value of AU for Australia instead of GB for United Kingdom.

MichaelTA,
I changed them to England F1 & F2 and fixed the UK Olympics for the next update, thanks ! :jap:

Today I tried to use 2D custom Courts from TE2013. I see them in Training Club, but I don't get them into the World Tour. I edited the Tour.ini like in TE2013 (CustomCourt01 = 10 | Ground = CustomCourt01). Has something changed there for TEM2?

cj1984,
hum, I didn't change that, at least not directly. Do you get any error message in the System.log ?

Thx for the info. After this i looked deeper and realised that the game wasn't using the correct Tour file. Now everything works fine :)

I would recommend making it take longer for a player to adapt to a new surface, as spending 24 hours in a week practising then resting for 18 hours almost completely fills the percentage (from 0 to mid 90s). It also leads to an idea for a new talent - one which increases the speed at which a player adapts to a new surface, possibly also giving a minimum percentage relating to how capable they are with any speed of court (probably about 10-20% would make sense, depending on if the talent has one or two stars).

MichaelTA,
I noted down your idea.
How many more hours you think it should take to reach the ~95% ?

Is it possible for you to realise another comfort feature? I would like to reach the player activity from a pre-match screen. Or did I miss this option anywhere?

I would say a total of 42-48 hours practising (not including rest time), i.e. a week of only practice or 24 hours practising, 18 hours resting, then another 24 hours of practice and 18 hours rest (I would imagine both options would be similar with the decrease due to rest being taken into account). I've noticed that training skills is most efficient to train in blocks of 24 hours followed by 18 hours of rest, which is why gave the second possibility.

Also, another suggestion is to add hospitality to certain tournaments (not necessarily 5 star) which the player can choose to take, although still giving the option whenever flying to choose their own hospitality so trainers can still travel to these tournaments if they require better accommodation.

cj1984,
IIRC correctly it can mess up stuff in the menu system to watch other menus at that point, but maybe it's possible to check only the activity and prevent to see the other screens (ie: draws & character sheets).
I'll try to look into that around v1.0.

MichaelTA,
having hospitality make it a bit harder to compare tournaments, and it's meaningful only in Challengers & Futures where the number of tournaments is noticeably lower than in real life, which means gameplay-wise it doesn't bring much except a bit of confusion... :fear:
So I'd consider to do it only if it was a popular request... :)

Not very detailed, but I could probably get you any save files that you need by repeating what I've already done if you need them:

1) Some players in 3D matches seem to use a backhand animation to hit a forehand and vice versa.

2) After watching a couple of 3D matches (skipping to important points if that has any relevance), if I start to watch a doubles match, 2 of the players become invisible after starting. This sometimes causes my game to crash.

3) It seems that if I qualify for the main draw of a tournament as a junior, the tournament quaifying and the tournament main draw count as 2 tournaments towards my limit for the year.

4) Whenever I created a new profile, the camera settings reset and I could no longer name training schedules I recorded (they just were created with no title in spite of me typing in a name).

5) If I hover over a button in 3D matches, the tooltip appears to describe the button that I'm hovering over. However, whenever the buttons all disappear if I don't move my mouse for a few seconds, the tooltip stays there.

I had this issue as well

MichaelTA,

1) I'll need your saved games before a match with a problematic player

2) Is it with the latest version ? (SubBuild 2018.12.8)
I tried to reproduce the issue by watching 2 CPU vs CPU singles then 1 doubles, both in World Tour & Training Club, but no one disappeared... So I'll need your saved game as well (and Tennis or profile .ini).

4) I couldn't reproduce the bug, so they might happen once you have played the game for a while ; they might get fixed anyway once I'll have ported the game to the Unity engine, as I'm currently cleaning the menu system to make it a bit more resilient :blackeye:

3) 5) Fixed in today's update
