Boyysinger,
you can download the demo from the site or the 1st post of this topic (on Windows only).
Alternatively, you can click on "Check for new version" in Settings -> Misc in the game.

Hello!

Love the new game!

I have a few issues though:
1- I found it impossible to properly train a Junior (I'm on Pro difficulty) to reach a good level enough to be able to win matches during the Junior years. I was stuck around 10% for everything and then when it was time to turn Pro, the potentials were really low. It also quite hard to understand how to properly use the Junior training system. TEM1 was much more streamlined. I also don't get why the two training systems (Junior vs. Pro) are that different from each other.
2- For the women's tour, is it possible that the WTA tournaments better reflect the real ones? Lots of tournaments don't exist anymore, plus the grass season is now 3 weeks, not only 2.
3- I'm sure they're coming, but I don't really see a big difference, other than graphical and the junior career of course, between TEM1 and TEM2? Am I missing something?

Overall though, good job :)! Keep up the good work!

vasek1234,
1) it's normal to have low skills during Junior years ; it should be possible to get high potentials though, and to win at least a few matches. It may still require tuning though. You have to be careful to keep your motivation up & maximize your training efficiency. How many Junior players did you train ?

Training is very different because :
- I wanted to reflect the real life where it is actually significantly different to train a junior :)
- I didn't want to add more of the same
- I wanted for these years to play relatively fast, so it'd feel like a good warm-up before the Pro period, but not a drag

You'd have preferred for the training to be nearly identical ?

2) I checked the ATP Tour and didn't find any significant changes ; for the WTA I checked but likely too fast. Except the 3-week grass season, are there any important changes ?

3) Important current & future new stuff is listed in the 1st post of this topic. If you have suggestion, they are always welcome, even if I can't promise I'll implement them... :)

I dont see any real changes. Maybe in the low tournaments, not in high tournaments. AO, French Open, US Open, Wimbledon, Indian Wells, Miami, Rome, Madrid, Stuttgart, Charleston, Toronto, Cincinnati, Stanford, Moskow, Bejing, Tokyo, Istanbul all the tournaments are the same in real wta.

Hey

Few comments/suggestions

The text in the training menu and tournament draws is really small and seems squazed. I dont get why the TEM2 logo in the right corner is taking so much space so all the rest of the text is so small..
The remaining training ours in the training munes is quite difficult to see.. locations in TEM1 was def better.
There should be an option where it automatically default to rest after a match/wining a tournament/qualifying as it is a pain in the ass doing that seperately when it often is 2 hours..

Its sad but I actually prefer TEM1 overall look as TEM2 is so squazed and low quality letters..

tennisfreak93,
thanks for the report !

Heya,
1) What is your screen resolution ?

I'll quote myself :
manutoo wrote:2) menus are done mostly for a 1920x1080 screen, which has been the most common screen size for a while now, with 72% of Steam gamers having it => http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/ .

And I'll add : if you have at least a 720p screen, it should get better once I'll have ported the game to Unity, in a few months.

2) If you click ok/next and you still have training hours left, your player will rest during these hours.

Hey manutoo, are you planning to release 3D matches feature in the near future?

iopzzza,
not near, but in the future, definitively... :P
It's possible we could get a test version around the end of June, if things go well (spoiler alert: things rarely go well lately... :fear: )

I wish there were more futures and challenger level tournaments/locations per week and changing locations from year to year. I like the current format for being consistent, but in real life, there are so many more challenger and futures level tournaments happening in various locations that are not covered in the game. The start of the game is a chore, since I based myself out of South Korea and Japan and India are my only options since I run out of money in the beginning. :(

How can I install newer versions of the demo?

MiREU,
the issue with having a lot more futures & challengers is that it'd require a lot more players, and it'd slow down the game a bit and makes the saved games significantly bigger.
However, it may be possible to add around 1 future tournament per week without too much impact ; I'll look into it.

For now, maybe you could raise the start money in Data\Money.ini ; would it be an acceptable solution ? :)

DavidRcv1,
just install it over your current version.

That was not the question... Where can I find a link to the newer versions?

DavidRcv1,
the demo is always the latest version.
Note: I still didn't update the MacOS demo to the v0.65 .
