cheat codes not working

i have tried every way possible to get the cheat codes for TE and they just do not work.
question: how exactly should they be enter? its explained very simple but it doesnt work

Hello,
as soon as you'll have entered "M" then "T" it should appear on top of the screen, after you just have to finish to enter the code.
If you have TeMac, you may have to press ',' instead of 'm', if you have an AZERTY keyboard.

why would a game have cheat codes, if you have to cheat to win don't play. All i can do is warmup now unless i buy it i guess, but i still don't think i would play anyone but a computer player

Run faster too , I always play with big balls, it helps
