suggestions for TE 2007

Postby Brad1981 » 31 Jan 2007, 17:48

Hello,
I'm addicted to TE 2006. I play it EVERY day :)
I'm looking forward to TE 2007, even tho right now it's perfect the way it is. I just have a couple suggestions for the new version.
1) Fatigue. Have the players fatigue over the course of a match (in correlation to how many yards they have run). It would be great if it could be added as an adjustable attribute in the Character Sheet (from 0 to 100).
2) Speed. Have the speed of a player be added as an adjustable attribute in the Character Sheet (from 0 to 100).
3) Perhaps have an option for a "quick" tournament, so that one can play just a single tournament on the spur of the moment with the player character settings the same as for "Warmup" and "Match".
4) Ability to switch the ball arrow on/off for levels below Master. I play at Pro level, and on serves, I am unable to switch the arrow off.

Great game!

Ok, so TE2007 will basically be:

Tennis Manager where you actually play (meaning all those skills can be modified) and 3D graphics, right?

not really ... :)

TE2007 will basically be TE2006 with 3D players instead of sprites (but still 2D courts), with even more realistic ball trajectories, improved gameplay, new more realistic & varied IA, and an identical tournament mode.

I'll just add a few characteristics that u can find in TEM, but far from all.

Like what characteristics? There will be for example: Forehand power, consistancy, and placement right? And editing the mental games of computer players especially would be a great improvement. I know people already have been asking about that for TE2006, so this would be huge in 2007.

probably :
- for forehand & backhand power & precision , and maybe consistency as well.
- for service : power & precision
- form will become : speed + stamina
- Volley FH & BH : maybe precision + consistency

And yup, it'll probably possible to edit/add the IA script to control their behavior.

Great. You should definately have consistancy, placement, and power for all those things. I'm looking forward to all this 8) .
