Manutoo, help me with my cheating! [Training points]

Postby sphanlon » 20 Sep 2006, 15:45

I know this is cheap and cheesy, but I paid my twenty dollars and I don't care. I earned my way to perfect ratings honestly, but I really don't want to fool around with it anymore. I just want to play when I want and not calculate when I need to sit out to train. I already figured out to change where it says skill=skil*x after each day and x is like .99-something depending on the difficulty. I've set x to 1.00000 so my skil doesn't deteriorate. I'm just concerned that my bank of unused points will eventually grow too big and cause an error. Will that happen? How can I set it to receive no training points for winning matches or tournaments?

Hello,

no problemo, it's ok to cheat like this... ;)

so don't worry, the training points are blocked at 300, so on the long run, it should be fine. (if it's not let me know and I'll check it)

Hello,

you can change this in the "Tennis.ini" file, or the .ini of your profile, under the section [WT_Training] .

EDIT October 2022:
For TEM2 & TE4, how to modify your Tennis.ini : topic19-32161.php .

Thanks!

Humm, maybe I didn't understand what you wanted...

Do you want to change the drop rate of your skills ?
Or directly your skills ?
If the later, it's not possible...

If you want to change the drop rates, it's the lines, after [WT_Training] :
DimClub = 0.99455
DimJunior = 0.99420
DimPro = 0.99376
DimMaster = 0.99269
Change the one of the difficulty level you are playing with. (Beginner is bound with Club, and Incredible is bound with Master).

If you didn't change your profile, then you have the default profile which is using the "Tennis.ini" file.
If you created a profile, you gave it the name you wanted, and then you should change this file : Profiles\[YourProfileName].ini .

Sorry if I sound a bit silly, but I can't seem to find these lines. I did not create a profile, so I used the Tennis.ini file. I can't fine the lines Dimclub etc. It opens with Notepad when I double click - is this correct?

Thanks!

you mean I cant do this for TE2011??? I saw this option in the ini file but nothinIg happened......

I am completely baffled how to increase training points in world tour mode without dropping points....I dont even understand how to do it the normal way... https://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/Ten ... l#training

I keep training and training in match mode before I start a new tournament and none of my skill levels increase....training mode with a different player plays with a different player than in world tour mode......why is this so complicated...........!!!!!!!1.....i am really fucken frustrated with this.....

haha its not that hard but if you really want to know... :jap:
go to Tennis.ini and look up "[WT_Training]". (include "[]" and "_" as well)

this is how mine looks like. you can copy this as well.

[WT_Training] // every day, Skill = Skill * Dim
DimClub = 0.9980
DimJunior = 0.9982
DimPro = 0.9984
DimMaster = 0.9986
DimIncredible = 1

ClubPbH = 2.0 // Training Efficiency
JuniorPbH = 1.5
ProPbH = 1.5
MasterPbH = 1.0
IncrediblePbH = 9999999999.0

ClubGain = 1.75 // Experience points modifier
JuniorGain = 1.5
ProGain = 1.25
MasterGain = 1.0
IncredibleGain = 9999999999.0

The 1.0 and 9999999999.0 you can put on any level necessary, but this will only effect you, not the CPU's. :)
The 1.0 is so that you don't lose any points on stats and although its 9999999999.0 you can only get max 500 training points until you use them.

The level i play on is Incredible. But this works with the other levels, just put the numbers in others if you play Master etc. :) and you aren't exactly guaranteed to win all tournamentss you enter in world tour.

This should help. :)
RETIRED.

You're a hater & you're just unattractive INSIDE ! Image

Ok, out of curiosity: what do these stats do exactly?

I figure "every day, Skill = Skill * Dim" is the deterioration of your skills when not training.
I reckon "Experience points modifier" is the amount of experience points you get from winning or losing matches.

What does the "Training Efficiency" do? Does it change the amount of training hours needed to increase your stats with 1%?

Hi

Can u guide me on getting perfect skills in world tour. without cheating i mean u did it once. so if u can tell me the trick to get all skills in 90s and above. like when to play tournaments when to skip. its hard as skills drop every week of play.

artmaroof90,
in TE2013, you have 42 hours of Training, and you can spend 3 XP points / hour, so you should play every week when you have less than 42 x 3 = 126 XP points.
