Couple of Questions [Acceleration on Service; skill level]

Postby Forehand » 18 Sep 2006, 06:16

1. Does an accelerated serve count as one of a player's accelerated limits during a point.

2. What is the skill level of each opponent in the trial version?

Hello,

1) yes

2) by default, your opponent skill is on "Beginner" level, but you can change it easily by going to his character sheet (the skill bar is on the down right of the sheet)

Thanks. The first opponent seems like a beginner. However, if you win the set 6-0, the program asks if you want a tougher opponent. If you say yes, the program gives you a tougher opponent. If you beat the tougher opponent 6-0, the program asks if you want a more tougher opponent. If you say yes, you get a really tough game.

I can beat the first (beginner) opponent 6-0.
I can beat the tougher player (Level ?) opponnet 6-0.
I have yet to beat more tougher third player (Level ?); My best is 6-3.

I was curious as to what level I was up against for those tougher opponents?

oh ok, I better understand your initial questioning now ! :)

So, the answer is still same : the skill level is updated in the character sheet, so you can have a look there...

The skill level is raised by 1 each time you accept to have a stronger opponent.
So you start with Beginner, then Club, then Junior (which is really the 1st level that requires a lot of practise to master), then Pro, then Master, and finally Incredible.

The characteristics are always 50% everywhere. So you can tune more precisely the global strength of your opponent if you need.
