More camera angles are needed. It would definitely make the game stay "fresh" longer. Perhaps have the user be able to choose a custom camera angle setting also.

Just like to say I love TE2006 First purchased the game for the 2005 version and would just like to say thanks for the hardwork, this really is a superb game, I most like the simulation of the real ATP tournaments and Race/Entry Ranking.

Anyway I'd like to make a couple of small suggestions for TE2007. These aren't really gameplay suggustions so I hope this is being posted in the right section !

Firstly, just a minor thing to do with Match Stats. I believe if you don't get a return in play it SHOULDN'T count as an unforced error, but it currently does so maybe this could be changed?

Also, maybe introducing the mini US Open Series would be good if this is possible. Obviously this counts for the 6/7 tournaments before the US Open and can double/increase prize money for the final round reached at the US Open. I don't know how difficult that would be but I would say it would be a nice little add on

If ManuTOO could provide feedback to my suggestions, this would be great

yup, I'll try to add a couple of stat screens (I'll have to do some for the Tennis Manager, so hopefully, it shouldn't be too hard to put them in TE2007 as well).

Nope, it's not possible. It'd need 3D courts (either rendered in real-time, or pre-rendered), and it's too expensive to produce...

This is the infomation I've gathered from the website.

Basically the series covers the follwing tournaments:

1) Indianapolis
2) Los Angeles
3) Washington DC
4) Masters Series Canada
5) Masters Series Cincinnati
6) New Haven

It states on the site that the points are distributed as follows:

The US Open Series Challenge gives players the opportunity to win bonus prize money at the US Open based on their final standings in the US Open Series Challenge. Points are accumulated throughout the six-week series and only those players earning points in at least two of the events will be eligible for the final standings. The top three finishers will be eligible for bonus prize money based on the schedule below.

Heres how the points for the mini-series are calculated:

Masters Series Canada & Cincinnati:

R16 = 15pts
QF = 25
SF = 45
F = 75
W = 100

The remaining International Series Events:

QF = 12pts
SF = 22
F = 35
W = 50

The top 3 players in the series are then eligible for the bonus prize money, which is as follows:

Winner of US Open Series

Winner of US Open: $1,000,000 Bonus
Finalist of US Open: $500,000 Bonus
SFs of US Open: $250,000 Bonus
QFs of US Open: $125,000 Bonus
R16 of US Open: $70,000 Bonus
R32 of US Open: $40,000 Bonus
R64 of US Open: $25,000 Bonus
R128 of US Open: $15,000 Bonus

2nd Place in US Open Series

Winner of US Open: $500,000 Bonus

About the camera angles. I didn't mean it should have real-time or 3D angles/images like something in Madden Football. I just meant something like you have now (2D), except maybe also have a side-view. I like the split-screen camera angle. Perhaps you could also have something like that except have it take up the whole screen. I like that closer to the court feel. And perhaps these camera angles could be selectable in the options menu. (Like you have now with the default and split-screen angles).

Thanks for all these details.
So I won't put this in TE2007 for sure, as money doesn't have influence on the game.
But I'll consider this for the Manager, but right now it seems to be too much work (I have too many other important things to do for the Manager before to think about extra like this one... :-S )

yup, it'd be nice to have the camera angle from the split-screen on the whole screen, but unfortunately, it'd still need too much resource... And If I begin like this, I think I'd rather invest into 3D courts.
