How about team tennis. the teams can sign pro players to their team. Example Barcelona Breakers:

and others

and you may change teams through contracts

What do you do with them ? why it'd create any fun ?

If you didn't notice, tennis is a mainly an individual sport !

By the way, if you think the game isn't worth $20, it's surely not this addition that would make any change about that...

i got a coupple of cuestions or suggestions
do you have any plans of making the effects volumen for separated?

because i like to play it really loud, but in a long point the public screams to damn high (wish it is cool, but a little bit anoing after a while), so my suggestion it will be to have control of he croud volumen, so it wont be to loud

i think that after a while the players got tired, they could not hit hard, i think it is a cool thing (although i think it takes away the intensity of the long point) but....you never know when axactly this will happend, so i hit the ball and a awfull shot came out right in the middle and very easy, so i get bitten by a good shot by the cpu, or the other player.

my suggestion it would be that some how we sould now when the player is got tired so we can switch our game tipe on time

perhaps a little drop on is head or something

...and the other cuestion is that sometimes me and my parter are trying to play, it came out a sign that saids "the game does not answer", even that we have the tennis elbow on, and waiting .

1) ok, I put this in the Tennis.ini :
CrowdVolume = 1.0
It's used to scale the volume of the crowd.
It'll be there the next time I update the version on the website.

2) Yup, it could be convenient... I'll see if I could add an "exhausted" sound fx...

3) when you have "the game does not answer", do you have it many times in a row, or just once at random ?
If the later, it just means the connection is not too good and one packet got lost.
If the sooner, then it means for some reason the connection cannot be established between your 2 PCs, usually because of trouble with firewall/router .

Team tennis is where players are pooled together into teams based in different cities and play a league format. It happens in the summer here in the US. Last year I think we had Navratalova and the Blake brothers here on the Boston Lobsters. It's usually older players and those not quite at the top of the ranks who don't mind missing the ATP and WTA events over that month or 2 or whatever. It's cool, but it seems like a lot of work with the league format and the team play setup and the rule differences. It's almost a game unto itself; seems very hard to try to package into the tour mode. And the game is so worth the price. Next years 3d release will rule all tennis games ever! Will it be free to registered 2006 users? Or is it too different and too much of an upgrade?

Ok, I see a bit better what is this team event, but I don't think I'll put it in the game : it'd be too much work for a too small addition.

I'm not sure of the pricing of TE2007 for TE2006. I guess it'll be available with a 50% discount, but it's still not decided right now (I have to do the game 1st ! )

I have a suggestion for TE2007. Perhaps have the speed of a player be configurable in addition to the other attributes?

Right now, the form skill determines the maximum speed of the player.
I'll see if it could be interesting to split the form skill into 2 skills : speed & stamina, for example...

It would definitely be cool to see players fatigue.

These are cool suggestions. Yeah it would be nice to have contracts and things. But here are my suggestions.

1) Add Women
2) Get Teams
3) Add Olympics
4) Add Mana Game Championships at the end of a season.
5) Have a two-handed back hand. (That would really be nice)
6) It would be nice to have a Stadium variety
7) Contracts
8) Have drug-test
9) Have them dive
10) Have Challenges (Because the CPU has hit some shots out and they were counted in)
11) Have them GRUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
