Re: Return of serve

Try moving back a little bit after you return. That should put you in a bit better position.

Re: Return of serve

I think returning serve is all about finding what works for you. For me, I stand more or less at the default position to return the first serve, I don't attack it unless it's right in the middle, just get it back in play. But for the second serve, I move up inside the baseline and attack the serve t...

Re: World Tour Suggestions

On the World Tour Malisse and Benneteau have 2 hand backhands, Amalgro has a 1 hander. I saw some others but can't remember who. More on this later  Also, even though Nalbandian is a decent volleyer in real life, in TE he comes to net WAY too much! IMO he should be more of a defender, counter...

Re: AUSTRALIAN OPEN (official topic)

Appy and I will hopefully be playing in 2 hours. If not, then I'll take the walkover. It's kind of ridiculous in any case to be getting a walkover over someone I know in real life.

The key is that you like tennis, not that you know everything about it.

Re: Understanding end-of-match statistics

Yes, it's because he won almost all of the points in the second set. Another reason could be that when he won games he won them without you winning a point and you won them with him getting 2 or more points. Just realize that he also won 2 more games total than you did.

Re: Special shot with deviant bounce ? (but not the slice)

Ok, I tried this out. I had never done the "Nadal" shot before, and it was definitely not what I was doing when Tsonga asked me about it. What I was doing was just a normal acceleration, but he refused to believe me. With the Nadal shot, I've found that it goes out way too often for my lik...

Re: AUSTRALIAN OPEN (official topic)

Togtdyalttai(8) def. Eronakold(9) 6-2 6-1 6-2 This match was really closer than the score. We had a lot of good rallies, but I just came out on top in most of them. He simply was not able to win free points off his serve like I was, and consequently I broke him many times. Nor was he able to finish ...

Re: World Tour Suggestions

If it could be set like this just for against CPU, I'd be happy. :) Key point there. I actually find it fairly easy to volley against the CPU, even with no points in volleys (though I do get lobbed, I don't lose the points that way, instead I keep rallying from the baseline), but suit yourselves. I...

Re: World Tour Suggestions

Togtdaylttai...On what World Tour level do you compete on? From what I've experienced, if you compete against the higher levels (master/Incredible or even a Pro level AI opponent with souped-up volley skills) if you only have very weak, minimal skills and speed/stamina (5% or 10%) it's extremely di...

Re: World Tour Suggestions

Please only make the AI's volleys more effective, if that's possible. Otherwise, don't do it at all. We finally have a balance in the game where many different tactics are effective. I think if volleys are made even the slightest bit more effective that might destroy the balance because it would be ...
