Re: How should the start rankings next year be determined?

Well TTennisfan you were the one who reset the rankings and nullified all previous results when you became the moderator, so I don't know why you are so against this... Personally it's the same to me, keep the rankings or not, but I agree with Tog that te06 rankings do not reflect the situati...

Re: Tennis Elbow 2009 1.0

Sometimes when you try to hit a dropshot, it actually hits a very short slice kind of shot, that's almost impossible for the opponent to get. I'm not quite sure what causes this, maybe imprecision, but it happens quite often in rallies. It's not fun because that shot usually ends the rally there, an...

Re: Tennis Elbow 2009 1.0

Ugh, this is horrible. Giving some bonus to having no topspin is ok, but the other things along with it? We already had the topspin strikes lowered, and that didn't work out so well. And I think that instead of lowering the speed bonus more of a bonus should be given to taller players, maybe in str...

Re: Tennis Elbow 2009 1.0

Yeah I understand that about player's height, but you are still going to change the speed bonus, right? I have collected my thoughts about this, and this is what I really wanted to say before: It's the combination of certain things that are problematic. If you are as short as possible, and hit norma...

Re: Tennis Elbow 2009 1.0

Exactly what I was telling you. I usually use topspin shots, and the positioning doesn't really matter. And when I use accelerations, I'm in good position anyway. Lol you weren't telling me anything about that. We didn't discuss it. We were discussing the defender style, and if you had told me then...

Re: Tennis Elbow 2009 1.0

Ok forget all I said about the defender style, it seems positioning doesn't matter with any normal shots. lol I hadn't noticed this before. It's actually kind of nice. I had been using accelerations most of the time, I though the positioning was similar with normal shots, but it's actually a lot eas...

Re: Tennis Elbow 2009 1.0

Here's the problem with the defender style, in the documentation:

"lower handicap on off centered balls on the normal and topspin strikes"

This makes it so that positioning doesn't matter.
