So did you Mod the game ?

If not, try to reinstall it, and if the problem persists, post your System.log after have reached that screen & exited the game.

plus un joueur a sa compétence de lift haut, plus il est à l'aise sur surface lente, et inversement avec le lift bas sur surface rapide.
Et mets un lift moyen (~35%) pour les surfaces moyennes ( => dur ).
