Check your Mods.ini and multiply these numbers by 2 till it works :

Could you try to save, close the game, then send me your System.log file ?

Did you activate the DevMode ? If yes, turn it off.
Maybe you installed some stuff in the wrong folders and thus the game doesn't work correctly anymore.

I did a quick try by starting a Career with 2 Players, and I changed the T-Shirt on the 2nd player, exiting the game & reloaded and the selected T-Shirt was there.

What are you exact settings leading to the issue ?
