there's nothing to do to support Steam Link, it should just work. (if I understood what it's doing )

What is your issue exactly ? If it's the game not seeing your controllers, then pick the "Keyboard 1".

Topspin was released a bit before TE on DS, and it was in full 3D with licensed players, which means it had a big upper hand marketing-wise and cast a big shadow on TE in 2D without any license, and whose gameplay was unusual for the casual public.

the smoke shows the player is tired and starts to hit less efficient accelerations.
At some point, the texture should be moddable, so you could replace it by a fully transparent one, but it might not arrive before a while...

Reinstalling TE2013 will ask you to install DirectX, so you could try that.

It fails only on MacOS BigSur, so for the next update, it'll have automatically this option set on BigSur.
