TTennisfan, I'm not sure what is wrong with the TE racket sounds for u, but the sounds u provided are kinda similar in type to the TE's ones, but lower in quality, and it seems u "borrowed" them from another game...

it might be a trouble with your mouse wheel or your trackpad, if you have one.

Try to edit your "Tennis.ini" file, and change this line, under [Menu]:
WheelAxeMode = -1
to :
WheelAxeMode = 0

to turn it off.

2- if still not working, uninstall the game 1st (but keep your saved games), before reinstall it
