read in the game folder "Data\HowToMod.html" ; then edit the Player base & remove the player you want to incarnate. Be careful, it'll invalidate your current saved games. After, start a new game & create it as your own player.

Check for error messages in the System.log ; if it doesn't help you, send it to me (either by email or by putting it in the Forum).

Try this : press F9 key during the match, or turn on the "Advanced Options" in the "Misc Options" menu then go to the "Video" "Advanced Options" and lower or turn off the crowd density.

yup, there's a bug making wide fault chances raise instead of lower. I'll update a new Build tomorrow. I wait a bit to see if there's any other bug report...

you probably did some modifications to your Players and/or Tournaments bases... You have to re-apply these Mods to be able to load your saved games. Previously used base files are back-upped in the "Data" subfolder.

Close the game and if it's already done, either kill "TennisElbow.exe" using the Task Manager or reboot your computer.

For the seed, this is correct. Or almost correct... I'm not sure if in real it's done, 1 week earlier, or 2 weeks earlier. In game, it's done 1 week earlier.
For the ranks, this is also done 1 week earlier, but maybe I should update them at tournament start...

if you lower the Level of Details, does it help ?
Turn on the "Show FPS" in the "Misc Options" menu, if it's under 58~60, then it means your video card is not powerful enough for the current video settings.
