anim modding will work almost the same way than in TE2013, except instead of having to use 3DS Max 8 and exporting to .X file, you can use any software exporting to .FBX instead.
I'll also have to build a Unity package to test the anims in Unity and export them as Unity packages afterward.

I have a GTX 1060 which has 10'000 points and gives 100~120fps @1440p, depending on the view.

If you want to reach 144 fps, you'll have to activate the 2D Background in the Video -> Advanced options, but you likely can keep the high detail for the other stuff.
