I haven't tested this but will say

I'm not a fan of anything that makes rallies longer...when people run out of accelerations the rallies are simply boring. If it's harder to finish points in realistic mode then it's a big no

Also net play should not be easier, it is annoying for the player on the baseline to try to hopelessly pass the net player when they are in good position at net and also those rallies(other player at net, other back) are mostly quite unrealisitic. On fair mode net play is presently quite hard and mostly possible when you construct a point well with accelerations and get a weak return, like in real life. So no thx to easy rushes to net

S.Williamz,
if u could try it _before_ commenting it, I'm pretty sure that would improve the feedback... ;)

If the attempt is to make the game realistic, the pace of shot should be increased than the fair mode. Players can hit around 160 kmph shots off the ground. I remember Lisicki hitting ~~ 100 mph forehands at wimbledon.

It's same than for Fair Play. Except you can put 100% in Service Power, if you want to.

I still don't think it's very realistic - some people who have played the game a lot and have high ELO's can still play crazy tennis, hitting accellerations on every shot and be successful.

I can't do it, but some people stand way behind the baseline when returning serve and then hit rocket returns onto the lines EVERY time, even if you do a full power serve on the lines, makes serve-volleying impossible, and then during the rallies they are constantly on the attack with accellerations...

Maybe low autopositioning should be forced, or elite controls made more difficult.

Rob92,
your report is only about games with Elite controls ?
for S&V, the most problematic return is the short acceleration. Is there some pep that can do these ones constantly with Elite controls ..?
For my XP, it's better to S&V with a B1 serve (ie: not the most powerful one), it gives you more time to reach the net ; if your opponent stands far from the baseline, it's even easier, coz it gives you more time also to prepare your shot. On the contrary, with a returner that stands near the baseline and guesses correctly your serve direction, it's nearly impossible to S&V...

Yeah, recently I've only played online by hosting Elite control "Realistic" mode matches on grass.

I like to play a varied and tactical style of play, but against these people who spam the acceleration shots it's impossible. It's not only how often they are able to hit them, it's their aiming too, they are able to hit within a few cm of the lines every time.

I only play people with an ELO below 1300 now, above that and you just play against this crazy tennis, some of them even do it with woman characters, as if to take the piss!

Rob92,
you may be not good enough. I can't be sure coz I didn't see u play, but I'm around 1550 ELO and there are a lot of accelerations, but not only that, other strikes matter ; if you watch matches of top players they don't do only acceleration either ; you can do only accelerations all the time when your opponent is significantly less strong than you and never put you in difficulty.

About women, they don't have any skill handicap in the Training Club / Online ; they have some only in World Tour.

I know I'm not great at the game, but the shots that these people can pull of are NOT REALISTIC.

I don't mind losing to people if they have outplayed me with skilful and realistic tennis, but with these impossibly accurate shots it's just a joke.

The worst problem has to be the return of serve where the opponent stands almost in the centre of the court behind the baseline, and runs over as you're serving. This is something you NEVER see in reality, but it works in the game...
