New animations: problem with .x exporter

Hi guys; it's been a while since I wrote on this forum, I stopped doing mods 4 or 5 moths ago, and I don't wanna bother you with the reasons.
For Christmas (happy holidays BTW!) I've got a new PC, and it's quite powerful. I decided to restart doing mods when I have some time: I haven't got much freetime to create mods daily though. I've started with anims cause they were very funny to do and I enjoyed them a lot.
Now, the problem is that I've downloaded 3ds Max 8: it works perfectly. But when I unzip the modified .x exporter into the "stdplugs" folder and I run the game, it shows me "error code 126: the specified module could not be found". Back on my old PC, the .x exporter worked perfectly: it's the same Windows sistem as the one that I've got now. I really don't know what to do, I've already done a couple of anims (WTA ones: as you may know, I prefer WTA to ATP) and I want to test them in the game.
Can someone help me? I really hope so. Thanks in advance.

(for your problem i don't know, i've try to use only the demo mod of 3D Max8 : too complicate for me :( )

nevermind, I think I have found the solution. I have 2 animations ready, and other 2 have a beta version. More infos in the next days.
