How to put outfits and animations in the game

Postby Rafa15 » 12 May 2014, 18:34

hey,
it still does not work for me to put new outfit pack and animations in the game. for animations the first 4 steps out of the "animation topic" are clear but I dont understand the last ones.
Anybody give me a short explination how to add outfit packs and animations(nadal's def. slic anim for example) to the game ( I play phucnguyen Patch) :D . The explination in how to mod is really complicated :(

Ok let start with Outfits first

1. Browse to your TE Folder/Script/Gamesys =>> Open Gamesys with your Notepad or any text editor

2. Type Ctrl-F, it will display the search bar. Type in the search bar: NbPreset

3. Below NbPreset you will see a lot of values like Face, Shirt, Short, Anims, Hat, etc.

4. Locate Shirt, change NbPreset to 1 and increase your last shirt one more value, if you add 2 or 100 shirts, then you have to increase NbPreset and shirt number with the same value
(for examples, your last shirt is 256 >>> change to 257
nbtype = 0 >>> change to 1

adding 2 more shirts: last shirt is 257 >>> 259
nbtype = 1 >>> nbtype 3

5. Close Gamesys and save it. Now go to your TE Folder/Data/Models/Texture/Male. Inside Male Folder you will see a lot of Faces, Shirts and Shorts. Look at your last shirt in the game. For examples your last shirt is 256, then rename the shirt which you downloaded to 257 and then rename other downloaded shirt to one more value if you want to add more

6. If you want to change the shirt style you can browse to your TE Folder/Data/Models/Texture/Male.Ini. Open Male.Ini with Notepad or any text editor. You will some kind of value like this: Tshirt01 1 2 5 Tshirt02 6 9 10 Tshirt03 3 4 8

Tshirt01 is normal shirt style
Tshirt02 is polo style
Tshirt03 is sleeveless style

If your shirt is Polo style, then just type 257 in Tshirt02: It will look like Tshirt02 6 9 10 257

6. If you want to add new Shoes, Socks, Cuffs, Hats, Rackets. You will see them in your TE Folder/Data/Models/Texture. To add new just do the same method above

To add new animations:
I find this frustrated at first but once you get used to it you will find it very easy

1. Open Gamesys. Find NbPreset, below you will find the section Anim. You will see your last anim for each strike section

For examples: Forehand 40
2H-Forehand 0
Backhand 15
2H-Backhand 29
Service 36
Slice 20
Return 30

These numbers 40, 0, 15, 29, 36, 20, 30 are the last anim in each strike section

2. Go to your TE Folder/Data/Models/Anim. Inside Anim folder you will see a lot of folders like playermale01 playermale02, etc

3. Ok now if you want to add a new forehand anim, examples above, last forehand anim is 40 =>>> create a new folder and rename it to playermale41 =>>> Then just put new forehand anim in there folder, you are set. If you want to add a new Backhand Slice, examples above, last backhand slice anim is 20, then just put your new backhand slice anim to playermale21. Do the same for other anims

4. And finally increase the number of anim you have added for strike in gamesys.ini

5. Now you can enjoy your new anim :D

thank you so much! ;) the new animations works and you described it very well and easy>>> this description should be in "how to mod"
the only stupid thing is that Rafa now always does the def. slice anim always when he's playing a backhand slice. But thats normal because there are no "special animations" in the game when the player is under pressure? ;)
three more questions: 1.how to add new gestures and forehand slice, which values I have to change in gamesys?
2.is it possible to change the anims for a saved season or have must I star a new one?
3. does I have to create for every new animation a new folder when I download anim packs with lots of anims?

1. For example if you want to have Nadal's forehand slice, you must put the file in the Anims folder where is his forehand, in the same folder in anims.
3. Yes

Glad it helps, mate. your welcome ;)

1. To add gesture, forehand slice, victory or any other gestures you add it inside player's forehand folder

examples: Federer's forehand number is 19, then just add new Federer's gesture or other Federer's gesture in playermale19

Important: DO NOT add new gesture and forehand slice into player's backhand, backhand slice, return stance and serve number. You have to add it in player's forehand number

examples: If playermale forehand is 19 or 100 or something then you have to add new gestures and forehand slice anims inside playermale19 or playermale100 or something

2. Yes, it's possible. which player's anims you want to change? your or CPU?

3. It's depend.

Examples: you have total 41 playermale folders. If your serve anim is 41, then you have to create playermale42 to add a new SERVE animations

but if your forehand anim is 21, then you have to add new forehand anims into playermale22 folder. DO NOT create playermale43 folder and put new forehand anim in there, it won't work

Do the same for backhand, backhand slice and return stances

Leave questions here if you still have problem

yeah thanks ;) I wanna change an animation of my player ;) When I started the season I choose the def. slice animation for rafas slice, but afterplaing a few matches its annoying because he always does the anim, when playing a drop shot and thats looks stupid. So I wanna change this anim to his normal backhand slice anim ;)

Currently it's impossible to do 2 different slice anims. The improvement is in the hand of Manutoo, so i think all of us should have wait

To change the anim of your player

1. You do the same method for outfit code (Outfit code defines player's outift, face, grunt, animations and anythings in the ''Customized Characters'' Screen)

Open Tennis.Ini and change DevMode to 1.

Save your player to Training Club, then go to Training Club, customized his animations or anything inside there, then click the button ''copy outfit to clipboard''

Go to World Tour, go to customized character screen and click the button ''Enter Outfit Code'', then just press Ctrl + V to paste. You're set

2. Browse to your TE Folder/Profile/Default/PlayerATP.Ini

Open PlayerATP.Ini. Look for the name of your player

In the last line of each player you will see his outfit code. In the end of the code there are some abbreviation for strikes like fh, bh with the number of anims. Just change the anim number you want for your player, you're set

The second method might work with CPU if you want to change CPU's anims in World Tour

You mean you want to change for examples Central Court to Court 5, right

Here is my method, I do the same too

1. Create a new folder for each tournament. examples: For Australian Open, I created a folder and renamed it Australian Open, then I downloaded every AO courts in the Modding forum and put them in the Australian Open folder (The Australian Open folder should be in your TE Folder/Data/Court folder you want to change

2. If you want to change court, just copy the court you want and paste it in the court folder

Examples, Your AO Court is Court1. Browse to the Australian Open Folder inside Court1. If you want to play on AO Rod Laver Arena Court, just copy the AO Rod Laver Arena Court in the Australian Open Folder and paste it in Court1.

Hey. I'm using Dilimas ATP WTA megapatch and I cannot add animations. I do everything as in the explanation but for example the forehand animation does not add to the game.
