New Rules

Postby Togtdyalttai » 29 Dec 2009, 08:58

[Edit by ManuTOO : *** these rules are outdated *** this topic is just for memorial only *** please refer to new rule topic ]

We have decided on four new rules for the 2010 season.

First, every tournament player is now required to have MSN messenger (or Yahoo if you must). If you don't have MSN, it's easy to download. Just go here.

Second, we've changed the way random luck is done. We felt it would be impossible to do away with it altogether, but this system should be a bit more fair. The chances a given player has to win a RL is now based on the difference between the two players' rankings. There are 6 ranking classes, and each class has a different probability of winning against each other class. You can see the classes and the probabilities here.

Third, we made a list of things people will certainly be banned for, which can be seen here. Just because something isn't on the list doesn't mean you can't be banned for it, so if you have a question as to whether something might get you banned, don't do it.

Finally, if you have someone who lives in the same place as you do (ex: a sibling), make sure to tell us. Otherwise, the second person will be left out of the draw and you may be banned as well.

May all of you have a fun 2010 Season!

It's probably that my cousin (I think you talked with him yesterday tog) will eventually have to play in my house some matches, he comes by a lot here and thus it's probably he'll be here when he has to play a match.
Didn't know whether to send you a pm or post it here, it was easier just to post it here

Yes, and Davis Cup will count for one small tournament if you play that.

After much deliberation between my colleagues, we feel a new rule is necessary.

it goes along the lines of this.

"Laggers : GTFO"

only positive feedback is accepted :)

Lol, in terms of new rules...People who don't speak a word of English waste hours of my time (e.g. Ivaro)...I think it should be mandatory to have a basic comprehension of English; I'm not willing to type in Spanish randomly as I don't even know Spanish very well. Many people agree with me on this but they aren't saying anything on the forum so I had enough of it. These people are rare, but there's a few who can't type English at all. They could at least use a translator, if not, they should just flat out lose unless they JOIN within 1 hour of when you tell them to join  Figurative speech...

Also, some people are replying on the forum in Hungarian, I'd like that translated please ;)
