Small tournaments are anything other than Masters 1000 series or grand slams and the list is alphabetical.

you can't play more than 15 'small tournaments' during a year, which are the atp 250 and 500, from those 15 tournaments, only 12 count for the final ranking
for example, I have played 10 small tournaments, so from now to the end of the season I can play only 5 small tournaments more
