It's unbeliebable for me how can a player join a Challanger Tournament with an elo like miutki10

I think, Challanger Tournaments are for players like me, low elo and little chance to win a match and having fun.

So macht es keinen Spaß, sich zu beteiligen, wenn sich bei solchen Underdog-Turnieren die "Meister" mitmischen.
Sorry, ist nur meine Meinung.

He was really really too strong for me.

GL for next matches

Lucky Rooky,

It is true that there are some pretty good players in challenger with 2000+ ELO, but it doesn't mean that the challenger is by any means too strong. It is hard for some players with 2000+ ELO to get past R1 or R2 in main tour too because the level of main tour is very high. If you don't play tour a lot, your ELO is usually inflated a bit (for my part, I have 2200ELO but it is sometimes hard for me to beat regular main tour level players with similar ELO. Their ELO is not very high only because they constantly play against other extremely good tour players) Thus, the relatively good players you meet in challenger are not the finalists/winners you would see in a main tour. (Though they may improve further to reach that height)

As a player who have played in both challengers and main tours, I would say that challenger tour is already a lot less challenging. And I understand players want to have fun by playing with comparable players, but it is also true that challenger event is a competition instead of a place for pure exhibition fun match. Thus, a certain competitiveness is expected. I think challenger tour already strikes a balance between these two (fun with players who are less strong and a degree of competitive intensity). That's why you had a R1 match with a guy close to your level but in the R2 match you also bumped into a better player. I think this balance provides chances for you to practice with players of similar level to you that allow you to execute your shots but simultaneously you can play with players that you probably have something to learn from in the latter stage of the tournament.

Good Luck and Have Fun.

Lucky Rooky,

Heinrich.
