I tried the demo yesterday and I must say that the game is really well done. I enjoyed the tennis school and I think by today I will buy the full game. I saw that in tennis school the parts of the game are not translated into Italian. I would like to help with the translation for free. Is there any way I can send you the translated parts? Can I put them in a text file? A hug and congratulations for your efforts.

Hi again, I personally created this spreadsheet where you can find the entire translation of the Tennis School in italian. Hope it's useful for you to improve the game also for italian users. let me know if anything is missing that I can fix it. A bientot!

Your goal is to check that the Italian text in "lang_Italiano_NewSentences_Translated.txt" is coherent and meaningful and possibly fix the errors if there are any. It should take you about 1 hour, I guess.

The references (eg: [>Off]) have been translated by Google (which should not be done normally), but I'll restore them when incorporating the new sentences, so you can ignore them (except if you need to know the text they reference to understand a sentence).

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Do not change :
- TextCode
- everything after a // is a comment, and is not used in the game (it's supposed to help people translate the text)
- \n means go to the next line

- {0} {1} {2} will be replaced by a string by the game engine
- [>TextCode] will be replaced by the text associated with the TextCode
- <tag> & </tag> are rich text tags (usually for color)
- {Some Codes} will be replaced by numbers by the game engine

Hello again, I have completed and tried to improve the parts of the file you mentioned. (I renamed it to pupattolino75 so that other reviewers eventually, can have the original reference and compare with my check/review).
Some terms fall under common sports terminologies and can be safely left in English. Considering those new to tennis/or to better clarify, I have put in some strings an alternative translation in parentheses that can be left in. For example: Parità (Deuce) or Volley (Volée).

A doubt about the translation of Accel_ strings and meaning of this string:

Accel_InFlowAccelerator Acceleratore costante

InFlowAccelerator Even if referred to accelleration, you meant a mental state to achieve good performance? If correct, a tennis player who can be consistent in acceleration performance? In this case I use the term constant but might be better the term regular (Accelleratore regolare) instead. However, it may be too similar to the string Accel_None where Regolare it used already, that might be translated with Acceleratore_Nessuno

I also found some small errors in the main lang_italian file, so I allowed myself to correct any inaccuracies or improve the text, but they are very few. For example, the TitleB04 string was missing the letter S from Set, so I corrected it to "Choose Set number."

Talent17 Talento Superiore // Like Natural fenomenon? Is it the meaning correct?
Talent18 Versatile nelle superfici //if too long we can use Polivalente instead. (like Playstyle08) in my opinion. A player that can play in every surface.

It'd be better to have only 1 term. Pick the most commonly used. If both are used equally, favor the Italian term.

Here's the description (it should be in the new sentence file) :

AccelTip_InFlowAccelerator The 1st acceleration in a row is {0} km/h slower, but the following ones are {1} km/h faster

The goal of these acceleration-style names is to be memorable and somewhat cool or funny (without being too silly ).

In French, I translated it to "Continuous Acceleration".

Here are both descriptions :

NgHelpP17 Each star raises the chance of converting a bad day to a good day by {0}% for the Form of the Day. The bonus of each good day is also raised by {1}%.
NgHelpP18 Each star raises the rate you raise your Surface skills by {0}%.

In tennis, an upset is when a lowly-ranked player beats a significantly better-ranked player than himself. This talent allows this to happen more often, thus its name. In French, there's no suitable equivalent, so I translated it to "Star of one day".

And so Talent18 is not about being strong on all surfaces, but the ability to adapt quickly to a new surface. Same, there was no equivalent in French, so I used "Surface analyst". (again here the names should be memorable and somewhat cool/funny )

There will probably be more changes there, I have yet to familiarize a bit with the game (I just bought it), but I am excited. Maybe I can take a look again after you've uploaded the updated text so I can check again deeply if you agree.

I'm testing it. Something wrong on the first lesson of the tennis school. Directional Controls are not visible. See screenshoot. So first lesson and those with that controls report <not found>. I think because {Left}, {Up}, {Right} and {Down} are strings that I wrongly translate in italian, so the game engine is not able to recognize it. My fault. sorry. I'll quickly send an updated file to you soon.
