I have Tennis Elbow 2006 for Mac, and it's a terrific game, the most realistic I've played. I'm anxious to try the 2009 version, when will a Mac version be released?

Hello,

I hope it could be done for next February, but I'll have to check 1st technical issues to be sure it's possible to do the port without major difficulties...

Can't wait for it. Any chance that online games will work for Mac?

Yup, some chances to see network support for the Mac version, but I don't know how high are the chances... :P

I think it should be possible to port TE2009 to Mac, I will likely start to work on it next week, and hopefully have it finished for mid-March. But there won't have be network support, coz I didn't find a network library doing what I need...

If the port is successful, everybody who will have bought TE2006 since the release of TE2009 on PC will get the Mac OSX version for free.

The port to Mac OSX is going well. The Menus & all the in-game stuff (court, ball, helpers, score, etc...) are correctly displayed, except for the 3D players & the detailed shadows.

I hope to have the players & their shadow done within 1 week or 10 days, and after that, the port will be almost done..! :)

Thanks for the update manutoo. :) Sad that the online games won't work though, I'm sure it must be possible cause many other games have it :(

OpenGL port is done ; ie : the players, their racket, and their shadow are all there and well ; all seems identical to the DirectX version..! :)
So far, I worked only on Windows, so now, I just have to actually compile the project under Mac OSX, and check for loading problem with the PowerPC CPU, and it'll be all done..!
Hopefully, I won't run into too much small issues, and TE2009 will be released around next Wednesday...

Tom Paulman, about the network, sure it's not impossible to do it for Mac OSX. But the problem is that it'd take me too long time to do it, and as I'd have to change the Windows network code as well (so Mac OSX & Windows users could be with each other), it could lead into several months of problems for all Windows players as well, as it's very tedious to debug any network problem...

The Beta is here ..!

download here : http://www.managames.com/download.php?T ... _beta1.zip

>> Do not buy the game using Plimus <<, else you'll end up with a key for TE2006.
Paypal should work fine though...

If you already bought TE2009 for Windows, you should be able to use your key with the Mac version as well without trouble...

If there is no bug report, it'll be the final version released tomorrow, so I hope some people will be able to test it a bit before... :help:

ok, it's not too easy to get Beta testers on Mac, so here the final version released : topic15-2031.php .
Hopefully, there won't be too much bug left in it...

And Plimus purchase is working correctly... :)

Congratulations, that's funny ! The key 2006 doesn't work on the beta version, but it might be good for the last version.

Bye (A bientôt pour la suite)

The license key for TE2006 doesn't work with TE2009. But people who bought TE2006 Mac since November will receive a free key for TE2009 soon (within 1 week)...
