different buttons different shots

Is it possible to re-map what each button does? For example, can I make both the aggressive and defensive lobs be on one button instead of the default separate buttons?

Hello,

no, it's not possible.
The only additional option available is to set the top spin and slice effects to their own button. To do so, you have to edit your Tennis.ini (or the .ini of your current profile), and change this line, under [Menu] :
CtrlExtraButton = 0
to :
CtrlExtraButton = 1
and then go to the Controls menu.

Thanks! Just 1 more suggestion. Could maybe have the Fire 1+2 really fast shot have its own button. Sometimes I press up on my gamepad when I press that button, thinking I will get added power and it turns out to be drop shot!
Also, during the course of a match, does fatigue come into play, which would cause a player to slow down? I am using demo so I can only play 1 set, but I am going to purchase soon :)

Hello,

1.) no, I prefer to keep the drop shot on the fire1+2, coz some people can't press fire1 and fire2 at the same time.

But I'll see if I can do a little system to configure more precisely the controls (through the .ini) .

2.) No, there's no fatigue accumulation during the match.
The only little simulation of fatigue is through the limited number of accelerations you can do per point, and it's constant from beginning to the end of the match.

About the acceleration shot: I just meant that in addition to the way it is, to also have it--say--be as button 6. Since buttons 4 and 5 can have slice and topspin, I thought that maybe a button 6 could be added to be acceleration. Everything else can be kept the way it is.
