Huge Slices

When playing against people on the internet, sometimes they use huge slices against me which curve a lot. How do you use this? The CTRL button doesn't seem to have this huge effect when I use it.
Also, how do you counter it? I only seem to be able to use safe shot and slice shot back. The accelerated shot never really seems to work.

You can return it quite safely by any shot except power shot. And I agree that the maximum slice should be reduced, I like to slice myself but some players do unreal and almost unreturnable slices which makes the game less fun.

No it shouldn't be reduced u want everything for u which is hard to reduce 1st it was with the top spin lob and then with the slice, it's not un realistic

LOL, so 90 degrees slice is realistic and normal and returnable? Show me a YouTube video of a match where you have seen it

i have to agree with tom paulman. those shots are really un-realisitic, but are quite returnable with anything other then power shot...
same goes for drop shot-smash

lulz I was one of the few people who could use this shot. Since nobody plays 06 anymore I guess its kl to tell you. When the previous point ends, you immediatly start to press the buttons for slice. Now, the longer the person takes to serve, or if you get a 2nd serve, you get a bigger curle on the ball. So now you know
